Kenny Daugherty
Kenny Daugherty launched his executive search firm after 30 years of working for other agencies, higher education institutions, and recruiting and coaching college athletes.
Kenny started his career at the University of Alabama after receiving both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Mercer University.
He returned to his alma mater, where he stayed for 11 years in various leadership roles, including vice president of advancement administration. In 2008, he joined Myers McRae, an executive search and consulting firm, and was named president in 2016.
Known for his consummate assessment and placement capabilities as well as his relationship-building style, Kenny works closely with boards, search committees, employees, and other essential stakeholders. A proficient leader and mentor, he specializes in identifying and attracting highly qualified candidates.
He operates with advanced vision, broad perspective, and deep wisdom. And like any great coach, he knows how to recruit talent and build a team.
