Jennifer H. Barfield M.Ed.

Jennifer Barfield has conducted more than 150 searches at 110 institutions across 25 states. Over the past decade, she’s built national networks of nursing and healthcare educators, researchers, and administrators, and become a proven expert at researching undiscovered candidates in hard-to-find places.

Prior to her executive search career, she worked in nonprofits and higher education administration, managing everything from fundraising and alumni relations to special event planning and executive board relations.

She served as the Associate Vice President at Mercer University, a private R2 research institution in Georgia, for 13 years and went on to become the AVP for Advancement at Middle Georgia College, serving three campuses in middle Georgia, before it was consolidated with Macon State to become Middle Georgia State University.

A graduate of Mercer University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, Jennifer holds a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, summa cum laude, from Georgia Southern University.
